Munchkin Soft-Tip Infant Spoon - 6 Pack Review.
"Best spoons EVER!" 2008-11-07
By K. Huff (Lafayette, IN USA)
I bought these spoons because I liked the bright colors. They looked fun and like they would capture the interest of my little man, who was just starting on solids. I also purchased the soft-tip Munchkin spoons (that are similar to the Gerber brand) and the Nuk temperature-sensitive spoons. Well, the Nuk and Munchkin spoons never get used because these spoons combine all of the best features of both. First, these spoons have a deep basin like the Nuk spoons. The padded tip spoons are so shallow that you can barely get any food on them. Second, these spoons have a soft tip. The whole basin of the spoon is actually flexible, which makes for a more comfortable eating experience for your baby. Third, the bright colors really do capture the baby's interest so they are more likely to pay attention once they get to that age where they are easily distracted. Finally, they have a longer handle than any other baby spoon I've seen so feeding is easier for the feeder. They are not temperature sensitive, but who feeds their baby without checking the temperature of the food anyway? This is one of the best products I've bought for my son! I would like to notify you that the colors I received are not the same as pictured. I received two spoons with pink basins (one with blue and one with green) and one purple spoon that is a pastel purple with yellow, so three of my six spoons are girly. Not that it really matters, just fyi.
"Excellent spoons" 2008-12-04
By Mcmama (Longmont, CO)
I have tried a lot of spoons out there. I have three children and have bought spoons each time they began to eat solids. The spoons are long enough so that my youngest daughter can grab onto it and I don't lose control of the spoon. This seems to help her while she's trying to coordinate getting the spoon into her own mouth. They are also deep which helps the food stay in the spoon when it's being manipulated and swatted by little hands. And they're bright and colorful. My three year old "picky eater" loves to borrow the "baby spoons" because they're much more interesting than her regular spoons. Whatever it takes to get her to eat.
"BEST Spoons for Young Eaters!" 2009-06-12
By H. Chapel (Michigan, United States)
Pros:
*LONG Handle is easier to grip than other popular brands
*B/C they're molded plastic in one piece, they clean EASY in dishwasher/by hand (Unlike Gerber spoons)!
*Very colorful-perfect for boys or girls
*VERY soft plastic-great for beginner to advanced eaters
Con: The ends of these spoons are heavy, so if you place them in a tall empty jar/bowl, the container will tip more times than not. Just something you've got to remember...
We've bought 3 sets of these so that our little guy has spoons at our home and his grandparents' homes. Everyone had previously purchased other brands of baby spoons (Gerber and Nuk), and remarked about how much easier to use these are! As soon as my son starts to feed himself, with utensils, we might transition to a shorter spoon, but these are perfect for our family at his current stage!
FYI: These can be found WAY cheaper at Target.
"Great little spoons" 2009-11-20
By Jennifer R Scudiere MD (Baltimore)
These are nice little spoons. The handle is longer than most baby spoons, which is convenient when feeding the baby. The colors are attractive and they are sturdy without being rigid. We put them in the dishwasher. I'll be ordering more.
"Adorable!" 2009-10-26
By Janis W. Reno (tennessee)
Bought these for the grandaughter that's on the way!!! so we haven't used them yet, but they are extremely cute!

Pampers Cruisers Dry Max Diapers, Value Pack, Size 4 (22-37 Lbs), 100 Diapers Review.
"Best ever even at night" 2010-05-10
By Tal Blumenfeld (Pittsburgh)
We loved the old Cruisers, and was very worried because of all the reviews
But i am happy to inform that my 20 Month old son love how thin they are, and have no problem with how they feel
With the old Cruisers, we had to buy different dippers for the night because of leaking
With the new Dry Max Cruisers NO LEAKS at night any more
We love the new Dry Max Cruisers
"Used to use Huggies but we LOVE these thin diapers. My grandson really runs fast since not alot between his legs. Will buy again" 2010-04-30
By Mrs. R. Henderson (FLOMATON, ALABAMA USA)
I used Huggies and organic diapers for my granson, but he really loves the freedom of movement that these diapers let him have. In huggies I had to buy 4's but in these the 3's adjust to his waist very well and kept his bed dry even at night. They fit so much better since they are like a slim thin pad instead of a thick super 1 " think pad. We will definately buy these again.
"Love these!" 2010-06-07
By Amanda Parker (Scottsbluff, NE USA)
I received free samples of these for my 2 yr old and 6 month old. They work amazing for both. My 2 yr old is VERY active and they didn't come loose or leak at all, even overnight when she can really soak a diaper. My 6 month old is just now starting to crawl and get to moving around, they stay put, the poop does not leak out the sides. I have heard all the claims of kids getting horrible rashes from these diapers, we have not had any problems with this, nor does anyone I know personally.
"Continue to be pleased" 2010-06-07
By C. Hascoat (Long Island, NY)
We've been using Pampers for years and we love them. I read some of the negative reviews and I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about. It seems to me the new diapers are equally as good (absorbent, durable and comfy) as the old ones. The only real difference I can tell is that may be they are a little thinner. But if they remain leak-free than what's the difference? Pampers diapers continue to work better for us than any other brand that we've tried.
"Work great!" 2010-04-03
By A. Wallace
I was very skeptical of these new Cruisers when I first opened the box because they are super thin. I have to say they work wonderfully! They are not bulky at all which allows my baby to move around easy, they still have the super stretchy adjustable waist tabs on the sides (unlike Huggies), and most importantly they hold up great! We haven't had any leak problems at all and no diaper rash. I have been using them for 2 weeks now on my one year old. When my daughter wets one, I will say it feels very warm and feels as if it will leak at any second due to the thinness, but it doesn't! I loved Pampers Swaddlers, then went on to the old Cruisers and was not impressed- seemed low budget, so then I tried Huggies Movers which I do like but hated that they don't have the stretchy adjustable sides so they always felt tight on my daughter. I then decided to try these new Cruiers & love them, so I will be sticking with these. We love the improvements!

gDiapers Flushable Refills, Medium/Large, 32-Count Bags (Pack of 4) Review.
"Best of Both Diapering Worlds - Disposable & Cloth" 2008-07-02
By Caroline Orloff (Hoffman Estates, IL USA)
We have been using gDiapers for our 7.5 month old little girl since she was under a month old. Yes, there was a learning curve but once we became adapt at using the gDipes, it's been smooth sailing with minimal leaks even when she has blowouts, and no clogged toilets.
We have more than the recommended number of gPants, per the gDiapers website and as such, always have a stack readily stuffed by her changing table. We like having the convenience of a disposable with the flushable. If we are unable to flush it, we can toss it and know that it will degrade unlike regular plastic disposable/chlorine-free diapers - we also compost her wet flushables. We do flush the poopy flushables and know of parents with septics tanks that also flush these.
The cotton pants are just so adorable and you can get more colors and now, new designs directly from gDiapers.com.
I will advise any parent that wants to give this a shot, to join the gDiaper yahoo group. There are tons of parents there and loads of advice and also used gPants for sale - another level of recycling !
The Subscribe and Save via Amazon for the Flushables is the cheapest I have come across - even cheaper than getting them from a store and the convenience of auto shopping is priceless !
"g's are wonderful no diaper rash!! not that much more$$" 2008-07-28
By Jenny Mayoros (Providence, RI, USA)
We use gDiapers, we love them! We have never had diaper rash, except the few times we have run out of inserts and have resorted to disposables--in one night we had a rash beginning with 'sposies! There is a learning curve to avoid leaks, but leaks and blow outs happen in disposables as well! Cutest diaper I have ever seen! Some cloth diapers are cute too, but these are my favorite!
In regards to the previous reviewer's comments on price, while they are more expensive than other disposables it's not that much. I did the math, according to Amazon's prices at the time of writing this, g's (med/lg) cost 36c per insert (if you 'subscribe and save', case of 128), Seventh Generation's are 35c per diaper(case of 120 stage 3), pampers cruisers are 25c per diaper (case of 160 size 3). SO...if you are using seventh gen, i guess the price really isn't an issue anymore now that Amazon has g's with subscribe and save savings!
At 10cents per diaper at the *average* 6 diaper changes per day for 30 days, that is only $18 a month...i will skip out on ordering pizza Once a Month in order to pay for our g's and feel good knowing Poop from our daughter is not heading into the landfill to pollute the groundwater. Icky! And come to think of it, I would probably be paying a good deal of that extra cash to treat her diaper rash every day if we were in disposables... guess I'll order that pizza anyway!
Way cuter than sposies and not that much more $ day to day!
"Good tool to have in the arsenal of being greener..." 2008-08-12
By Amanda L. Ellsworth
When I was pregnant I had planned on using cloth diapers. But my guy was so little, and my cloth diapers so big, that I was using disposables, which made me cringe. Then I discovered gDiapers. Best of bost worlds! The impact on water usage to clean these is minimal, nothing compared to bulky cloth diapers (CLEANING TIP: Soak with "Oxy" bleach to remove stains - chlorine bleach will ruin the liners); the inserts are biodegradable, which ROCKS; and I add the wet ones to my compost! How cool is that?! (No poop in the compost, please!)
And yes, little ones' bums look SOOOO cute walking around in these... People will notice and stop to ask about the diaper...
We use Seventh Generation disposables at night. I guess my guy pees a lot, because gDiapers just don't do it, even doubled up... We also use Seventh Gen at daycare - I was afraid the liners would get tossed, and there is that learning curve to get the right fit... (FIT TIP: Once the diaper is on, make sure a) the liner is not tucked into the waistband and b) the insert is all the way into the corners - especially in the front if you have a boy!)
Life with a baby is a balancing act of green v. practical. gDiapers are a good tool to have in the arsenal of being greener...
"Good for the planet. Great alternative to disposables!" 2008-08-28
By Shelly (MA, United States)
I am a recent convert from disposables to the gdiapers, and I love them! I currently use these flushables in my gdiapers, and I compost the pee ones and flush the poop ones (you can also just throw them away). There is a bit of a learning curve to these when you are used to disposables, but since I joined the gdiaper yahoo forum [...] and watched the videos on [...], I've had very few problems with leaks. Any problems are user error, and easily corrected with the proper fitting. Actually, since I've used them, I've had no poop explosions onto my daughters clothes like with disposables, and the only leaks were a little pee on the diaper cover. MUCH better than when I used disposables! Plus, this is a nice transition to cloth since the gdiaper covers can be used with cloth inserts as well. So many options, and you don't have millions of diapers sitting in a landfill for 500 years!
"Green, comfy and cute diapers!" 2008-08-29
By Melissa A. Wojciechowski (Howell, MI)
We switched from regular disposable diapers to gdiapers a few months ago and we love them. My daughter has very sensitive skin and used to get diaper rashes at the drop of a hat. No more. She used to stick her hands in the legs of her diapers all the time, but she stopped doing that once she started wearing gDiapers. She is so comfortable and cute in these diapers. We use cloth inserts at home and the flushies at daycare. Once I showed her caregivers how to put them on her properly they said it was actually easier than using a disposable. I really love that I can flush the flushies, compost them or throw them away knowing that they will degrade and not fill up a landfill. They are a flexible green alternative to disposables! The subscribe and save feature makes them just a little more expensive than disposables, but they are worth every penny.

North States Superyard XT Gate Play Yard Review.
"This has been wonderful" 2007-09-05
By K. Gehring (Kentucky, USA)
When our 2nd kiddo started getting mobile, I knew it was time to kid-proof the great room. Problem is, our great room is just that - great, as in large. The doorways are wide, the floor space is large, and our very curious 9-month-old was eager to explore every nook and cranny. Our older daughter wasn't quite as curious at this stage, plus we were living in a different house at that time, so we were faced with a new challenge of creating a safe play area for the baby.
One day I had the idea of getting a play yard for the great room, instead of covering/blocking every single potential "hazard" (the entertainment cabinet, the CD tower, etc.). I ventured to Babies R Us and found this play yard and the extension kit (2 extra panels) and bought it. I set it up at home and have been happy with it ever since.
For awhile, I used it in its totally enclosed state, but the baby didn't like being separated from the rest of us. I tinkered with it and came up with a way to keep her out of trouble, while still allowing her access to us - right now, it's in a large arc shape with one end butting up against the couch, the other end butting up against a chair. She has plenty of room to play (I keep her toys in there with her) but she can't get out or get to any "dangerous" stuff in the great room.
As for looks, yeah, our great room isn't company-ready right now. But we have a 4 year old and a 10-month-old in the house, so the house isn't pristine anyway (my house is CLEAN, just not always NEAT...ha ha). I figure it's temporary, until she's old enough to know to not touch certain things. Besides, we don't have company, except for family, so the unattractive-ness of the play yard isn't an issue here. Even so, I'd gladly overlook the ugliness of it just for the convenience and benefits it provides.
When the time comes that we no longer have to use this for the kiddo, I'll probably hang onto it, either to offer up to friends/relatives someday, or to keep as a puppy play yard for the future.
"Fabulous! Sturdy and functional!" 2007-04-28
By F.Faulkner (Hartford, CT USA)
This product does what it says it does. It is a perfect play yard for our toddlers AND our puppy. We bought THREE! It's very sturdy, durable, easy to clean, and ours has lasted four years now.
Our toddler plays for hours in it and all his toys are in there, it's great. We bought an extra for outside so we can sit outside at dusk on the deck with him. When we got our puppy six months ago, we saw it makes a perfect pen for the new puppy! We have a small crate setup inside it, and a small litterbox to housetrain him. It worked great! Fantastic!
As for the reviewer who looked at it and returned it - I don't know what idiot would think it's beautiful, but why would you expect something like this to look beautiful?!?! Duh. It's a play yard. AND best part is, you can buy the extension kit. We bought two extension kits. This thing is practically unbreakable. My only complaint is that it takes a lot of strength, maybe only a man, to snap the ends together. It's very hard to snap together or get apart. But once together, we leave it up for months.
"LOVE IT!!!!" 2007-07-15
By J. Brooks (Central Coast of California)
OK so I have a few friends that call this a "CAGE" or "Puppy Pen" but when they come over they love putting their little ones in with my son and watching them play. I call it my "LIFE SAVER" and I'm sure in many ways it's my son's life saver too. He has learned a valuable session in what is his space and what is not. It's called boundaries and he's happy and secure knowing that he has them and so am I. At end purchasing an item like this is ALL about PARENTAL STYLE. I guess I'm a true centrist when it comes to parenting style; my wife and I wear our son, make his own organic baby food and he sleeps with us on occasion. But before he started crawling we knew that baby proofing the WHOLE house was not economical nor at end would it make it safe for him to wonder. SO I happily purchased a "CAGE" or what we lovingly call "P's Play Pen". I had a "play pen" when I was young and so did my wife. This was THE SMARTEST PURCHASE I've made in baby items.
Here is what we like about it: folds flat, is light weight, comes with a carrying strap, easy to clean, no sharp edges, has a sun shade (purchased separating), easy to put together, great resale value (see Craig's list), sturdy enough for my son to pull himself up to standing (he weighs about 20lbs), good size without the extension kit it can entertain three 6-7 month olds easily.
The things that we hope will improve in future; wow at first glance it's huge (I'd say about 4.5-5 feet in diameter, the sun shade only covers half the pen, there wasn't instructions on how to use the carrying strap, we eventually figured it out, the snapping sound when collapsing or putting it up can be loud. My wife thought she had broken it once. That's about it no disappointing issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
"Hallejuah! Uninterrupted Gardening." 2007-03-18
By laserpuff (McCalla, Alabama)
This play yard is the greatest thing to happen to new mothers, espicially ones that garden, since the invention of disposable diapers! I bought two and an extension panel, which make for an ample size playpen. Inside, I put a Little Tikes climber, a Step One ladybug sandbox filled with pea gravel, and a Playskool Grow-With-Me picnic table, and he still has plenty of room to romp. I can garden without having to pull him out of the fish pond or retrieve him from a newly planted bed of tulips.
"Excellent PlayYard" 2007-07-17
By Melissa Kessler (NJ USA)
The superyard xt is perfect for my 10 month old son. It's sturdy enough for his constant toy banging as well as to hold him up while he tries to walk by himself. It took only seconds to put together (which my husband loved). It's very easy to form to whatever shape you need to fit your space (if used inddors). We all love it.

Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free Baby Wipes Refills, 80-Count Packages (Case of 12)(960 Wipes) Review.
"Earth's Best/Tendercare Chlorine free baby wipes" 2009-09-08
By Chanti (NH, USA)
We have found this to be the best wipe around. Made in the USA! Generous and "Cloth like". They get the job done with less waste; On an outing, I can do a quick wipe of our 3 kiddos face and hands (with 1wipe) without it shredding, falling apart or particles left everywhere! You can really feel the Glycerin, so they are soft and very moist. I find the resealable tape works great... I have not had a package dry out, therefore I don't even use the refill tub any longer.
The package boasts:
*Chlorine free
*Unscented
*Hypoallergenic
*With Aloe Vera and Vitamin E
*Natural lotion
The ingredient panel:
Purified water=skin cleanser
Veggie derived glycerin=moisturizer, skin friendly humectant
Alkyl Poly glycoside=combased surfactant
Aloe Vera=heals, softens and smoothes
Citric acid=keeps PH level down
Vitamin E=Antioxidant or protective agent
Sodium Hydroxymethyl glycinate=broad spectrum antimicrobial
(like amino acid it keeps yeast and mold bateria at bay)
I do not read anywhere what they are made from nor that they are biodegradable, I am unsure why.
[...]
All this being said, in our household they have become a favorite, not just for happy bums!!
FYI-I also highly recommend their diapers.

"Fabulous Wipes!" 2009-05-30
By Lillian36 (United States)
I'm really impressed! I've been using Seventh Generation wipes for months because my baby has really sensitive skin and anything else gives her a rash. I decided to try Earth's Best wipes because of the special offer and they are awesome. They glide over the skin (the glycerin?) and clean better than the Seventh Generation wipes. I'm sold and will be buying these from now on.

"Better than other green wipes" 2009-06-28
By S. Portera (Caseyville, IL United States)
Love these wipes. They feel softer and thicker than other green wipes, like seventh generation. My son has sensitive skin, and we have no problems using these wipes. Only wish that they came in jumbo packs like non-green name-brand wipes do.
"my favorite wipes" 2009-06-30
By A. McNeil (CA)
I like these wipes because they have a lot of moisture to them.
You can even leave to package open for days and they are still fine.

Luvs Premium Stretch Diapers, Size 4 (22-37 Lbs), 180 Diapers Review.
"Perfect!" 2008-09-11
By P. Vaughn
These diapers are great, they are of the same quality as Pampers, only about $6-7 cheaper for the same amount. They have the stretchy sides that are exactly the same type as Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers. They have a babypowder scent to them, which is a little stronger than the Swaddlers, but not to where it bothers anyone. So far I've tried Target, Wal-Mart brands, Huggies, Pampers and Luvs. From my experience they ALL leak, no matter what they say. Especially when my breastfed baby has an explosive poop while not laying on his back -- this makes the liquid come out from the back of the diaper. But these don't leak as much as Huggies and generic brands. They are also not as rough as Huggies. Like I said, I would compare these to Pampers, I really think they stole their design ;)
"Just as good, if not better than premium diapers!" 2008-04-10
By Ashlee (Miami, FL USA)
I have tried pretty much every diaper under the sun, to include; Pamper's baby dry, swaddlers & cruisers, Huggies snug n dry & supreme, Target brand, and white cloud. I have found that Luvs are my favorite. I really liked the cruisers, but for some reason they gave my son a rash. Luvs were the last type of diaper I tried and I'm so sorry it took me so long to give them a shot! They're similar to Pamper's cruisers onl without the mesh lining and high price tag! This is why I LUV 'em:
1. They're thin, yet very absorbant.
2. They're really soft and have a powdery fresh scent.
3. The elastic keeps messes in, but doesn't irritate baby's legs.
4. The "bear hug stretch" is super stretchy-similar to Cruiser's.
5. Most of all, I love that they cost about 20 cents a diaper compared to the 25 cents that Pamper's cruiser's cost per diaper.
"New Packaging with Same Quality Diapers" 2008-02-22
By Ada Lau (Phoenix, AZ USA)
This is the new packaging with larger quantity. The pricing is a slightly cheaper than the prior 174 package. The diapers are pretty much the same. This item and the diapers are a great value for the price.
It works well with my baby. I use this during the day and Pampers Cruisers at night for the extra thickness.
"Great Diaper, Great Price" 2008-09-12
By Samantha Anderson (North Carolina)
These diapers are great. We have used almost all types of diapers and these are my favorite. My son is 17 months old and is always on the go. I have found that these stay in place and do not sag like Huggies. No matter how tight I would put his huggies on, they would gradually fall down and sag.
I would say these are more comparable to Pampers but they are cheaper. Pampers have always stayed in place with my son. Also, I cant say that I really have leaks with Pampers but I have with Huggies. I have never had a leak with these diapers. Who would have thought, cheaper price and better than the higher priced ones.
I highly recommend them
"Luvs diapers are the best value!" 2008-03-22
By L. Hammond
I have 4 children and Luvs are the best value I have ever found in diapers. I was one of those moms who would only use Huggies with my first child. Huggies diapers and Huggies wipes. It got expensive. Trying Luvs was the smartest thing I ever did. I never have trouble with leaks and they are so much less expensive. I am still using them for my two youngest children and I never buy anything else.

Earth's Best Organic Infant Formula with Iron, DHA & ARA, 25.75 Ounce Canister Review.
"it does not retail at $41 a can - even at its manufacturer" 2009-04-01
By C. Robinson (McNeil, TX)
This is a wonderful formula.
However, it is misleading to list this product at a higher price and appear as if Amazon carries it at a reduced price. It is priced at [..] at Whole Foods, same size. It is also available for online order at Earth's Best (the manufacturer) on their online store's website at [..].
The only place you are saving is to order more than one by monthly subscription through Amazon.
"The ONLY formula to use!" 2009-04-10
By Marisa Giuliani (Verona,NJ)
No one had told me about this product because I am breastfeeding, but when I realized I was going to supplement at night I wanted to find a formula that would work well with breastfeeding. I tried everything on the market and all of them had added sugars and made my baby boy extra gassy and some even gave him a rash. I started reading reviews and found out about Earth's Best. It is amazing! It smells good, it lessened his gassiness and he absolutely loves the taste. I predominatey breastfeed, but the two bottles he gets a day are always Earth's Best...you won't be disapointed. (Too much sugar and carbs in the others).
"Great formula, mixes well and organic is a plus!" 2009-01-31
By U. Salim (Santa Clara, CA, USA)
I switched from enfamil to this. Baby seems to like this much better. The formula is expensive but i have found the best deal on amazon. They had a price mistake so they were giving it for $27 for 4 cans... which got fixed later. But now they had other deals and with subscribe and save it is about $17.15, best price i have found... specially when it retails for $30 +tax.
Overall a good organic formula. And if the baby is happy i am happy :)
"Great Formula, with great ingredients" 2009-05-18
By Katanya
All infant formulas have the same ratios of nutrients - that's mandated by the government. However, the ingredients used to source those nutrients, that's what's important. Earth's Best is organic, and made with wholesome organic ingredients that you would actually want to put into your infant's body.
My son was breast fed, but I couldn't make enough to meet his requirements when I went back to work. I tried Infamil once, and he threw it up. Earth's Best, he actually looked forward to drinking.
Do you know that formula manufacturers used to remove Omega 3's from formula? Because it decreases shelf life. So be prepared to use the can within a month of opening it.
Also, if your infant is allergic to soy, this product is not soy-free (It has soy oil).
"Earths Best is the BEST !!" 2009-03-14

Pampers Baby Dry Diapers, Size 5 (27+ Lbs), Value Pack, 116 Diapers Review.
"Great buy" 2009-01-22
By J am I ee
I love pampers. They are the only brand of diaper that I have been able to use on my 4 kids. This was a great find for such a huge box and free shipping. The largest box of diapers at my local Wal-Mart is 76 diapers for $21.99..... So thankyou Amazon... super fast shipping too!

These are great diapers that fit well and keep in what baby fills them with! They even work through the night. The Sesame Street design is cute and the flexible tabs are sturdy. The elastic legs do not leave red marks on baby's skin. I recommend them!

This is absolutely the best way to get diapers. Auto ship: 2 boxes per month. In a science fair experiment at our elementary school a 3rd grade student compared Luvs, Huggies, a local store diaper, and Pampers. Pampers won out and this is one item that I stick to!

Baby Einstein Bendy Ball Review.
"My four month old loves it!" 2009-06-07
By Jennifer (Troy, MI)
A mom in my group had a similar one of these for her baby who just loved it. So when we were walking through the baby aisles at Target, we saw this one and just put it in the stroller with our baby to see if he would like it--and he played with it the entire time! So, of course, we bought it!
He has many other rattle-type toys meant for grabbing, but this is the first one he has actually grabbed on to and played with. It is very sturdy and actually a little heavier than I anticipated by just looking at it--I was worried it might be too heavy for him to pick up (since we had never really seen him pick up anything before) but he manages with no problems!
"Lots of Different Ways to Throw a Bendy Ball" 2009-10-04
By Citizen John (USA)
My twin 9-month olds, like all babies of that age, love to show when they're displeased by throwing something. When they try that with the Bendy Ball, most of the time they forget why they got upset.
This cute thing can be bent while holding and you can put your fingers inside it. Plus the ball inside that you can't quite get out has a little ball inside it that sounds like a bell almost. If you want to throw it to show your displeasure at something, you'll end up putting your fingers into it first. Those distractions are priceless.
By the time baby finally rolls this ball, it is with a positive frame of mind, and she wants it back to try again.
I can see that this durable little toy is going to be used in many ways and constantly. It's a lot of fun to roll their way and see how they try to figure out what to do with it.
Beyond that, the colors are great. The 5 outer caterpillar parts on diameter are cute. I think this is an educational toy that teaches about hand manipulation.
"so simple yet entrancing" 2009-11-18
By Akaijen
It could be that my daughter has a thing for balls b/c she also likes the plastic Gymboree balls. I bought this around 4 months. It was easy for her to pick up and mouth. At 7 months she likes to throw it and shake it.
I will say that it's not very bendy. I'd describe it as "having some give." My daughter can't bend it herself, and it takes some effort on my part. It also don't roll around like a ball, owing to the caterpillar running along the outside of the ball. I find this useful b/c it doesn't roll out of my daughter's reach, but don't get it if you're expecting to play ball with it.
"Entertaining ball" 2009-11-21
By Linda S. Elmore
This ball is just right for little ones, they can grasp easily, colorful, and engages with the ball inside. Very entertaining.
"Bright Colored Ball" 2009-11-25
By Marilyn Smisek
My grandson, age l3 months, loved the ball as soon as he saw it.
It has bright colors and is easy to grab. The sound made when it is rolling is playful and he quickly walks or crawls after it. I was very glad that I bought it. I thought the ball was small when I first saw it but it turned out to be perfect for him to easily pick up or throw. It's a fun toy!

LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table Review.
"The only one worth getting" 2006-07-02
By M. Kelley (Rhode Island, USA)
My mom bought this table and I bought a Fisher Price table. The kids love the Leap Frog Table and hate the Fisher Price one. The Leap Frog one is awesome! It has two options, words or music. So for the little ones to whom words don't mean much, you can use the music reinforcement and my toddler (age 2) likes the word option now. Great for around age 8 months when they start pulling up to stand. Love Love Love this table.
"We love this toy!" 2006-10-22
By Heidi L. Marini
My daughter just got this for her first birthday and she loves it! Everything you touch on this table makes a noise - we especially love the trombone and the banjo. As you flip the pages to the "book" in the middle of the table, the songs and the sounds change. There are lots of movable parts for the kids to play with - the slide on the trombone moves, there is a slide on the violin, the banjo has a lever to pull, there is a barrel to roll, pages of the book to turn, shapes to press, and a compartment to open. It is very colorful and very sturdy, too. I would DEFINTELY reccomend this toy!
"One of her favorites" 2007-08-17
By Decorating Fanatic (GA)
My daughter can't even stand yet and she loves this toy. I usually pull her bumbo seat up to it or hold her sitting or standing while she pounds away. This toy is advised for older babies but she has been using it since 4 mos. She is now 6 mos and still can't operate all of the gadgets by herself but she sure does love to try.
"Absolutely wonderful toy" 2007-10-19
By Robert Lau (Los Angeles, CA, USA)
We first saw this at our pediatrician's waiting room. My baby was instantly attracted to all of the buttons and moveable objects. So we bought and could not be happier. It provides so much for them to do. He quickly learned how to switch between the two modes, music and words. The little open/close compartment is great for improving finger dexterity, we put balls, blocks, etc inside that he would then fish out. It was the first toy he would head to when he woke up. He would happily push, pull, and turn things, and dance to the music for half an hour before he moved to the next toy. Pretty much the perfect toy.
"Excellent toy" 2006-12-30
By Harold Fuentes (Chicago, IL United States)
Outstanding learning toy...I can see how this will be fun for my son for a long time. He is 11 mos. and is using it to improve cruising skills. Even with a short attention span, he is quick to return to the table shortly after he leaves it to play with something else. He is utterly fascinated by it. It is fun for parents and kids, as the music and verbal material is very pleasant to listen to. The added bonus is that it teaches Spanish, which helps his bilingual training. It is has a very nice "ABC" song in Spanish, with a pleasant sounding female voice for the Spanish mode. It will also sing in soprano "blueeee" or "azuuuuul" (spanish for blue), when the kid presses the blue key on the piano. This is all when it is verbal teaching mode. When u put it in musical mode, it just rocks out, playing all kinds of instrumentals. As an amateur musician, I really got a kick out how sophisticated this equipment is. For example, there are a circle, square, and triangular buttons which sound like very intricate conga drum solos when u press them in music mode, and in verbal mode, it will say "yellow...circle" and obviously the same in Spanish mode. Very nice piece of equipment that will surely have your child entertained and learning. I look forward to seeing him evolve with this and become a little Herbie Hancock, as he learns to manipulate the different sounds instead of pressing things randomly, kinda like a little DJ! Buy this one. Well worth it.

Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Review.
"Good quality sound - not annoying!" 2008-02-17
By Kelly Taylor (Kansas City)
I just bought this to take over for our soon-to-be adopted infant. I was very happy with the small size and weight (perfect for an infant to hold). But most of all, the sound quality is fantastic (and not too loud) - and not electronic sounding at all. And the tunes are all pleasing to the ear and not annoying kid versions. I will like listening to it as much as our son!
"A must for every parent!" 2008-04-18
By Linda Delacourt (E Hanover, NJ)
I love this toy and will give it to every new parent that I know! This is the only toy with sound that we own that does not have clear packing tape on the speaker! (Every other toy gets the "tape treatment" once it enters the house!) Music quality is great and the songs play for longer than most toys, so you don't have to reach over and hit the button as often!
"One of the Smartest toys to 'Take Along'" 2008-01-18
By April R. Greco (Ft Hood, TX)
My Daughter picked this toy out @ Wal-Mart, among a few other toys herself!! When I originally bought it, she was only 3 months old!!!!
We moved the end of October and lost it in the move. I ordered it online and when it arrived, her eyes lit up and she fell in love with it all over again!!! It calms her down peacefully. I strongly recomend this for every parent out there.
"The best $10 dollars you will spend for your child" 2009-02-05
By EMqube (Houston, TX USA)
I have a 10 month old daughter, and she has fallen in love with this toy. I bought this because of its portability and size, but the small package has delivered so much more.
The sound from the single speaker on the back of the 'Takealong Tunes' is extremely solid for such a small speaker, not tinny or hollow what so ever. The lights move in time to the music, and the whole thing is light enough for her to easily carry in one hand while she crawls around the house.
The large button-like wheel on the front is extremely easy for her to push, with just enough resistance that it isn't going off incessantly, and the colorful caterpillar handle is a natural draw to her mouth. The only minor complaint I would have is that I wish the handle were rubberized instead of hard plastic since it is in her mouth so often.
I thought I was buying a good sound & lights toy for the portability since it is not always easy to drag larger flashing, blinking, booping toys around with us, but I feel like I've gotten so much more out of this potent little package.
It sooths her when she's tired, entertains her when she's awake, and has become her best friend over the past month or so.
I would highly recommend this to any parent, another winner from Baby Einstein!
"Great little "radio" for the baby" 2008-05-20
By Ann Gentile (Massachusetts)
This little "radio" is very cute. My 7 month son loves pressing the buttons to turn it on and change the music and he likes the lights too. However, it does end up on the floor a lot! LOL - Even my 4 1/2 yr old daughter loves it! The music is classical music that you know from the Baby Einstein videos. The volume is a good level and not annoying at all. The music is soothing and you don't get sick of hearing it like some other baby toys. I would recommend this toy.

Cloud b Twilight Turtle - Constellation Night Light Review.
"Great nightlight" 2006-03-20
By D. Logan (Columbia, MD United States)
My husband and I actually bought the turtle for ourselves. It sits on a chair in our bedroom - we turn it on every night before bed. The turtle is very cute and has three color lights to choose from (blue, white and green). The stars are kinda blurry with the white light, but are clear with the green and the blue. The light is soft and lasts just long enough to get to sleep.
"LOVE IT! Highly Recommended!" 2006-02-08
By Stargazin' new mommy (Ohio, USA)
I am an avid stargazer and have been looking for the perfect celestial touches for my soon-to-be-arriving baby's room. This is the most adorable and unique night light I have ever seen! It works beautifully - the star projections on the ceiling are great, and I am especially thrilled that they are actual constellations. To the reviewer who complained about the shell breaking and injuring her 18-month old, it says on the box that this is for ages 3 and up. It's not meant for babies to play with; it's more of a night light than a toy anyway. Overall I think it is a high quality, wonderful item and I would recommend it to anyone!
"In defense of the Amber setting!" 2007-05-08
By Salmontree (Seattle)
We love this! I am considering getting a "back up." Our 4 month old baby was totally entranced by the stars! It is terrific! Such a cute little turtle too. The stars are very soothing. The blue is easiest to see at first, but after your eyes adjust to the darkness, the blue and green are too bright and the amber is the perfect "glow." I used it for late night nursing and it was the perfect amount of light. We have 10' ceilings and the stars show up extremely well. They are "five pointed" stars -- not various sized dots like I expected but still enchanting.
Edit: now at 13 months, still used every night! A beloved toy for our now toddler and I love it to! If it seems dim, it just needs a new battery or time for my eyes to adjust.
"A sweet product" 2007-12-29
By R. Stallings (Georgia)
I bought this product for my 7 month old daughter. My son (2) has the Twilight turtle. We have always liked the turtle, but there were some flaws. For example, the yellow did not show up on the ceiling/walls no matter where it is placed in the room, and there is no off button. So it goes through batteries because my son is constantly turning it on at all times of the day. With this being said my son will not go to sleep without the turtle. We even take it on vacations. As mentioned I bought the lady bug for my daughter. I had planned on buying her the turtle, but when I saw the bug I couldn't resist. Cloud B has made some modifications since the turtle and they are for the better. The on button is also an off button. They removed the yellow and replaced it with a red, which is to be used as a nightlight....it does not project the stars. So far I do not have any complaints.
"The turtle is great!" 2008-02-15
By C. Olson (Sheridan,WY USA)
The turtle has a hard shell and is very sturdy. The head and arms are very soft. The instructions were easy to read and follow. I appreciate that it came with a relaxing CD to listen to at bedtime. My son likes to be able to turn it on himself and change the color. I like that it stays on for 45min and turns itself off.
