"BETTER THAN LUVS OR PAMPERS" 2010-08-19
By Mary D (DFW, TX)

I have a 13lb little man and NEVER once leaked poopy or pee with these. He sleeps 8-10 hours straight through the night and there aren't any leaks in the morning-EVER. Also there isn't any gel left behind on him, either, he wakes up dry and happy. He leaks in Pampers sometimes, and although Luvs don't leak, they don't hold as much, so it seems, and they feel really cheap.

 "Great quality" 2010-06-20
By B. Yee (Redondo Beach)

My baby likes these diapers and has hardly had any "explosions" that leak out in them. They feel soft and he's never had any problems with diaper rash with them. I prefer these over the Pampers Swaddlers because he seems to leak out of those more often.

"Best Value Diapers On the Market" 2010-10-17
By Becky Henson

After having 4 children, I have tried nearly every brand of diaper out of there at least once and have found Huggies to be consistently the best value. They hold the mess in far better than Pampers or Luvs. Huggies has also been really good about having coupons for their diapers, which certainly helps keep the cost down.

I rarely have problems with leaks and am a loyal customer of Huggies for my 6 month old!

 "Work Fine" 2010-10-25
By P. Suchdeo (Boston, MA, USA)

Turned out to be quite good despite all the comments about Pampers being the best , little ones getting pampers in the hospital and "All that works is Pampers" views from all of your friends. Do seem to have some disintegration (little white spongy bubbles of lining) when there is a lot of pee even when changed every 3-4 hours or so. Overall not too bad at all.

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix

|

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix Review. The new Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat is the only forward-facing car seat your child will need. Car Seat is the only forward-facing car seat your child will need. It helps keep him safe in a 5-point harness longer than most car seats, all the way up to 65 pounds. Later, the seat converts to a highback booster then backless booster, for comfortable, custom protection up to 100 pounds....

"better than radian or britax in my humble opinion" 2008-03-24
By Misstico (Bayside, NY)

So I did a LOT of reseach before buying this, read multiple message boards, then to the store to look at them, etc. This replaced a britax that was passed down to DD #2 for my rather large 4 yo girl(40lbs, 40inches)I want to keep her harnessed for as long as I can. I finally decided to go for it b/c of

1)price (though it really wasn't an object) but I am a big fan of bang for your buck,

2)sturdiness, i was never a fan of graco until i bought this seat. It's got a nice weight, sturdy frame.

3)comfort, memory foam! DD loves it, she sleeps very comfortably in it without slumping over like she used to.

4)size, not gigantic like the regent but large it enough to have a big kid sit in it

I was concerned about its looks but it's much better looking in person.

Finally, who can beat amazon's price!

I highly recommend it, I think it will last my DD until she's prob 7-8 yo (My average sized 8yo nephew fits!)

"Amazing Car Seat - Design and Value" 2008-05-31
By S. Dakin (Washington, DC United States)

My Wife, a Pediatrician, did a ton of research - with the first priority being safety, safety, and, I'll say it again, safety.

We were Britax users for our first car seats and found it a fine car seat, though pricey.

So, this time around, with our son growing too long for the Britax seats that we had, we decided to look at all the options.

Price was not part of the equation.

Design was not either.

Safety was it.

We highly recommend this Graco car seat (We have three now)

1) The price blows Britax away.

2) The design is very nice. Our son loves the drink holder as well as the toy "compartment" in the arm rests. He "hides" toys in the arm rests and has a lot of fun fooling us.

The installation was simple.

The headrest is extremely easy to use and to "fit".

The five point harness is critical to our son's safety and it is very easy to use. Though, it is slightly different than Britax, so there is a few days of getting used to a "new" system. After that, there is no problem.

Overall, we are very happy with Graco.

 "Love this carseat!" 2008-03-14
By leighann (Alpharetta, GA United States)

I bought this seat two weeks ago for my six-year-old and we both love it. She's pretty close to 40 pounds and was about to outgrow her current seat. I'd like her harnessed a little longer in one of our vehicles that has "backseat issues". I was thrilled when this seat came out. I really like Graco products and since this was more of a want than a need, I couldn't justify $300 for some of the other higher-weight-harnessing seats.

Putting it together was a little weird. It was difficult to pop the arm rests in. It's supposed to make a click, but it was a very quiet sound. They must be in right, though, because she puts her weight on them getting in and out and they haven't wiggled.

The strap adjuster took some time to get used to. It has a shield over the release so a child can't loosen the straps. But this also means you can't see it, so you have to feel around for it.

The cupholder is great. It actually holds a real bottle of water rather than just a sippy cup. Big kids use water bottles!

I've installed it in my Camry with the lap/shoulder seatbelt and it went in like a dream. It will eventually be in the Jeep Cherokee. Although I haven't tried it in there, I don't anticipate any problems.

The headrest sticks when you raise and lower it, but it should loosen up and that won't need to be done all that often, anyway.

Be sure to pay attention to the specifics. Children must be one year old and weigh 20 pounds (both, not either/or) to use this seat and it's forward-facing only. Even though you can use it at 20 pounds, I'd recommend leaving your child rear-facing until 30-35 pounds (depending on the seat) in a convertible seat. Not only will your child be much safer, you'll get more use out of the Nautilus. Since the Nautilus expires after six years, if you get it for your one-year-old it'll expire when he's seven and you'll still need another booster. If you get it when he's two or three, it'll expire when he's eight or nine and can go straight into a seatbelt.

"great car seat for keeping kids harnessed longer" 2008-03-02
By Sara (Illinois)

I found this car seat while searching for something reasonably priced that would harness past 40 pounds. I bought a different seat first, but while it claimed to harness to 50# and 47", my 37 pound 2 year old was already too tall for it. I returned it and purchased the Nautilus. We are using the harness straps in the second hole down, so he still has a good deal of room to grow in this seat. The straps are extremely easy to adjust and installation was no problem. I use the vehicle seatbelts rather than LATCH. The arm rests are very sturdy. The cup holder is in a good location. I plan to keep him harnessed in this seat for hopefully 2 more years, or until he becomes too tall, and then continue to use this seat as a belt positioning booster. The headrest is very easy to adjust and is able to raise quite high. This seat can accomodate a 20# child, but it's much better to use a convertible seat and keep the child rear facing to 35#.

"All around good car seat" 2008-03-18
By Jayne Plant (Colorado Springs, CO)

This car seat is very well designed.

1. Good for tall kids.

2. The straps are on rollers, so that they are easy to tighten.

3. Straps are easy to tighten because of a loop design at the end.

4. The release buckle is easy to undo (Might be a con for some)

5. Cup holder on one side and storage compartment on the other side.

6. Very comfortable.

7. Not too big and not too heavy.

8. Nice click sound to make sure the straps have latched.

The only negative so far:

1. The straps tend to get twisted about 1 in 10 times.

By Chanti (NH, USA)

We have found this to be the best wipe around. Made in the USA! Generous and "Cloth like". They get the job done with less waste; On an outing, I can do a quick wipe of our 3 kiddos face and hands (with 1wipe) without it shredding, falling apart or particles left everywhere! You can really feel the Glycerin, so they are soft and very moist. I find the resealable tape works great... I have not had a package dry out, therefore I don't even use the refill tub any longer.

The package boasts:

*Chlorine free

*Unscented

*Hypoallergenic

*With Aloe Vera and Vitamin E

*Natural lotion

The ingredient panel:

Purified water=skin cleanser

Veggie derived glycerin=moisturizer, skin friendly humectant

Alkyl Poly glycoside=combased surfactant

Aloe Vera=heals, softens and smoothes

Citric acid=keeps PH level down

Vitamin E=Antioxidant or protective agent

Sodium Hydroxymethyl glycinate=broad spectrum antimicrobial

(like amino acid it keeps yeast and mold bateria at bay)

I do not read anywhere what they are made from nor that they are biodegradable, I am unsure why.

[...]

All this being said, in our household they have become a favorite, not just for happy bums!!

FYI-I also highly recommend their diapers.

 "Fabulous Wipes!" 2009-05-30
By Lillian36 (United States)

I'm really impressed! I've been using Seventh Generation wipes for months because my baby has really sensitive skin and anything else gives her a rash. I decided to try Earth's Best wipes because of the special offer and they are awesome. They glide over the skin (the glycerin?) and clean better than the Seventh Generation wipes. I'm sold and will be buying these from now on.

"Prefer over 7th Generation wipes" 2010-03-09
By K. Lu

I used to use the 7th generation wipes until they lowered the count per package from 80 to 70. So I felt this was the better deal.

Everything I read holds true: It is a lot damper than the 7th gen. wipes and sometimes, the sheets can be stuck together. Also, the wipes at the end of each package is a lot wetter than the ones on top.

However, I've found that I appreciate this wetness. With how dirty the diapers can get nowadays, I've liked the fact that it's moist ... it cleans easier and I feel like I use fewer wipes. It can get a little sudsy though, but I use some powder to dry if needed.

So at the subscription price, which is what I get, I'd recommend it.

 "love these wipes!" 2010-04-25
By M. Keller (glenside, pa USA)

love these wipes! i used to use 7th generation which are ok, but they have a slight funky smell. these wipes are durable, no odor at all and are very soft. these are my new favs! i think they are most like pampers sensitive wipes (i used to use all the time) without the chlorine (which i want to avoid).

 "Our favorite wipes!" 2010-06-04
By willow

I tried a lot of wipes when my son was born - Huggies, Pampers, 7th Generation, and Earth's Best, and Earth's Best won hands down. The ingredients are simple and make for an effective wipe without the need for many of the crazy chemicals in other brands. The cloth is thick enough to handle messes but soft on baby's bottom. I do agree with other reviewers who have said that occasionally, wipes are stuck together, but I usually pre-pull a wipe or two at the start of a diaper change so its never been a big problem. My son has incredibly sensitive skin but these wipes have never caused any irritation, even the extra-sudsy wipes at the very bottom of the pack. The price on Amazon is really great, and with the subscription service I always have an open carton of these babies ready to go!

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat Pink Daisy

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat Pink Daisy Review. Once your child outgrows her rear-facing infant car seat, she's still required ride in a car seat or a booster for several more years to come. So rather than investing in a succession of seats and boosters, try the Graco Nautilus 3-in 1 Toddler Car Seat, the only forward-facing car seat your child will need. Its five-point harness accommodates children up to 65 pounds, and its convertible booster/backless booster can hold children up to 100 pounds in weight--longer than most other convertible car seats....

"can't say enuf good things!!!" 2010-07-02
By third year mom

I am more than pleased with this purchase. i bought it for $150 from Walmart a week ago and it is my second car seat purchase. This seat is ultra safe. It gets great ratings on Consumer Reports in all areas, but especially crash safety and ease of use. It allows extended use of 5 point harness (up to 65 lbs vs. 40 lbs)and has four shoulder strap adjustments (I have never seen more than three!). The headrest can be set so high that a small adult could use it. Plus, the high back comes off to make it a backless booster!! This is the only booster I've seen with that feature under $200. The arm rests do not adjust, but they have cubbies inside them to keep crayons and wikki stix. One of my fav features is the cup holder that is built into the armrest b/c it is so super sturdy that it securely holds a very large full cup... and I can easily reach it from the driver's seat! and it does not stick out the side, which is inconvenient for other back passengers. My last rear-facing convertable car seat by Safety 1st was extremely difficult to adjust the harness ~ this one is EXTREMELY easy!! Also, the shoulder padding is not only removeable for cleaning, but it velcro's for super easy removal, and it has an additional pad on the crotch buckle. As I said, I cannot say enough great things about this car seat!!

Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym Review. Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner and a frog character mirror. Two satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has two points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of three link points on the mat as well as to any of five link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between three modes of play: Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off eight to 12 seconds of lights and music. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays. Rainforest mode plays 20 minutes of rainforest sounds while baby plays. The gym provides four songs and two sound effects sequences. Requires 2-C batteri...

 "Great playmat!!!!!" 2007-06-10
By L. Aubin (Gardner, MA)

My son has been using this playmat since he was 2 months old. He is now 7 months and still reaches for it daily. He has learned to flip it over so he can reach the higher toys. I have yet to replace the batteries and everything still works great. The music plays for quite a while so you don'thave to keep running over to restart it. My son also loves the crinkle leaf and zebra tail on the mat itself. Since he has been rollling over, he can now chew on them and it is one more thing to keep him occupied! I highly recommend this line of products!

 "great!" 2007-05-15
By Jeneen Hiller (Downers Grove, IL United States)

My baby has been fascinated with the lights and hanging animals since 6 weeks. Nice music- more upbeat songs for when active, and quieter rainforest sounds for when getting sleepy.

 "Loads of fun!" 2007-12-13
By J. Washburn (NYC, NY)

My little guy has loved this gym since he was 8 weeks old. At that age, he couldn't really interact with it, but loved looking at the lights and the butterflies, which I had to manipulate manually. Now that he's almost five months old, he enjoys hitting and kicking the elephant rattle and swatting the parrot toy! His favorite parts have got to be the removable toucan and monkey--they go with him everywhere! And they're so easy to wash (and they air dry beautifully) after he's chewed on them. The mat washes nicely as well.

The rainforest sounds are gentle and soothing and have lulled him to sleep when he finished playing. There are parts of this play gym that he has not noticed yet such as the crinkle leaf and the cubs tail (both attached to the mat) and the toys can be placed in different areas so that play is always different and interesting, so I expect him to continue enjoying this play gym for a long time.

By Staci R. B. Waters (Ft. Rucker, Alabama)

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2TS691GLNGV50 My daughter loves this product. At first she laid there and looked at the lights and the she started hitting the toys, which eventually turned into grabbing them. Now at three months she is turning ove on her side to get to the toys better, she is almost turning over.

 "The Greatest Toy Yet" 2007-08-12
By Kristen's Mom

I bought this gym for my daughter when she was 4 months old. It showed up the day that she got her 4 months shots. She was very fussy so I put her in the gym and she completely forgot about her discomfort. She loves to play with the toys that hang down and has the best time. There is not a day that goes by that she does not play in the gym. She even will let you know that it is time for her to play in her gym. So far this in the best toy I have found!

Medela Pump in Style and New Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump Tubing - Pack of 2

|

Medela Pump in Style and New Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump Tubing - Pack of 2 Review. Retail pack of two new tubings for Medela Pump in Style Breastpump released after July, 2006, replacement for Medela's tubing part number: #8007212, #8007071, #8007156

(*Please note: before July 2006, both ends need adaptor, after that, only one end.*)...

"Product details that may be helpful" 2008-01-25
By Danette B. Preston (Moses Lake, WA)

After reading the reviews of this tubing, I thought I would add a few details that may be helpful. Before ordering tubing for your pump, you need to identify which type of pump you have. (Is it a Medela Pump In Style Original or a Pump In Style Advanced?) This particular tubing will fit all Original Pump In Style pumps (Original Pump In Style pumps cannot be removed from the carrying bag it comes in) and it will fit Pump In Style Advanced pumps that were manufactured AFTER July of 2006. If you have a Pump In Style Advanced pump manufactured BEFORE July of 2006, these are not the correct tubes. There is another page to order those from. (They are commonly called First Issue Pump In Style Advanced tubes)

AT this time, none of Medela tubing comes in retail packaging. It is sent to the retailer in a giant ziploc bag and the seller divides them up and usually puts them in smaller bags of some sort to send to the customer. None of the tubing comes pre-sterlized so you might want to sterilize it yourself before using it. The silicone the tubes are made of tends to attract every piece of lint and anything else in it's general vicinity so even in the most careful re-packaging conditions you may find less than gleaming, shiny tubes but they should never have hair wrapped around them, as one reviewer complained! If you are unsure of which kind of pump you have or when it was manufactured, the customer service representatives at Medela are so friendly and should be able to help you identify it. The tubing works wonderfully if you get the type intended for the pump you have.

 "Get them for free!" 2009-10-19
By St. Pete Mom

After reading the other reviews, I contacted Medela's customer service and they mailed me complimentary replacement tubes right away! I have an older version of the Pump in Style (late 1990's) that was handed down to me. This pump has lasted through 5 babies and I am about to use it again for #6! (Not all 6 are MY babies!) We just replace all the silicone parts for each pregnancy and the pump still works like new. Highly recommend the pump and all the parts!

 "FREE IF YOU ASK!!" 2010-02-19

I took everyone's advice and called Medela's customer service. I didn't want to appear demanding so I asked for help in finding tubing for my model and that's exactly what she did. She gave me the part number and places I could purchase them. I hung up with her and called back, hoping to get a different operater. Thankfully I did and explained I heard I could receive free tubing and she said yes, took my info, and placed my order for my free/complimentary tubing! Should be here in a few days! Thanks for the advice!

By Jimmie D. Burnett

The reason I purchased this was because I am keeping my cousins 2 dogs while he looks for a place to live that he can keep them. He is going through a divorce. I needed something to separate them from my 4 cats. The dogs Hate cats and are very jealous of them. The gate has worked great. The dogs bump their heads against it, push against it but it stays put. If it can keep them under control, a baby would be nothing.

I ordered 2 of these gates and I am using one at my home and one at my son's apt. We are very happy with this gate since it doesn't mark the walls and is very secure. It is a great product and pretty easy to use.

Very sturdy well made gates..We have four of them blocking of areas that are not child proofed and they keep my daughter out well. It's easier to just step over them than to move them every time to enter one of the rooms but they are pretty easy to move and put back

"Great product with a little bit of a learning curve" 2010-05-01
By Debbie (Ogden, Utah USA)

This is a great pressure gate. We got it to temporarily block the entrance between two rooms as our new kittens were getting used to the other cats in the house. It is a little tricky to figure out at first, but it is wonderfully sturdy and adaptable for such a great price. Just read the directions carefully and you will get the hang of it soon.

"Great gate at this price" 2009-10-24
By Michael Sapko

Holds fast to doorways and can be altered to fit different size thresholds (a little cumbersome to adjust).

Sturdy. It withstood the pushing of an eager 20 pound dog (intended purpose).

For the money, this product does the job I wanted it to do.

It is not the most beautiful thing in the world, but if you have kids or pets, how beautiful can you keep your house in a given day?

Nosefrida The Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator

|

Nosefrida The Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator Review. The doctor recommended nasal aspirator. Developed in Sweden by Pediatricians and Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, Nosefrida has been used by European Moms and Dads for years. It features a 15" clear plastic tube that extends from a nasal nozzle, allowing the parent to use their own suction to draw mucus out of their child's nose. Disposable filters prevent the user from catching the child's cold. The device is easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. Nosefrida is made of non-allergenic, latex-free polypropylene. It is safe to use and causes no injury to you or your child....

"The grossest thing that I've ever loved" 2007-12-10
By Shelleybean3333 (Foothills, NC)

This picture confused me because I thought that the large blue box was part of the Nosefrida. It is the just the case. There is a red mouthpiece, clear tube, blue filter and clear...I'm going to call it the "applicator" that you put up to the baby's nose.

I examined the nosefrida for a long time before trying it out on my four month old. I wanted to make sure that there wasn't anyway for snot to end up in my mouth. 14 hours of labored breathing, the baby's-not mine, I decided to give the Nosefrida a go.

Darn if that little disgusting contraption doesn't work! And I know it works because I could actually see the snot collecting in the tube. Yes, I gagged a little, but baby could breathe! And after all, isn' that what they teach you day 1 in parenthood?

Day 1. Make sure baby can breathe.

I still think you'd have to be pretty close to someone to give this as a baby shower gift. No one wants to think of snot on their happy day.

 "A must have!" 2008-04-15
By S. Priebe (Phoenix, AZ USA)

This nasal aspirator is absolutely amazing. It WORKS. And it is completely non-invasive. My 4 week old newborn caught a cold, and this thing saved me. It cleared her out SO WELL! I had been using a bulb syringe, and she would scream and scream. Plus, the bulb syringe was irritating her nose and causing it to bleed. Once I got the Nosefrida, I was able to suction her nose much more effectively without shoving anything in her nostrils. She barely even cries when I use it. Mostly, she hates the saline drops I use ahead of time. I have to wonder if I didn't start using the Nosefrida if she would have developed a worse infection. All that drainage could have headed to her lungs. I read some reviews on the Nosefrida that said it takes too much lung power. It definitely does take some lung power, but if you have healthy lungs it should be no problem (I had no difficulties). Also, some people said it's hard to hold the infant's head still. I don't think it's any harder to hold the baby's head still than with a bulb syringe (with both aspirators you have just one hand free). Actually, I think it's easier because I know my baby fights the bulb syringe much more than the Nosefrida. One great benefit of the Nosefrida is that you can wash it in the dishwasher. It is a very clean system. I HIGHLY recommend this product!!! Every mom who has a baby should own one. It truly comes down to a safety issue: allowing your baby to breathe.

"Best Nose Sucker on the Planet!" 2008-04-08
By Storm (Cleveland, OH)

WOW!!!! This is the best nose sucker on the planet!!!! I was mortified after my chronically stuffy 6 week old son turned his head unexpected while using a traditional bulb aspirator that resulted in a nose bleed. I immediately started looking for a method to clean his nose without having to violate his nose cavity. After much research, I found Nosefrida. I was skeptical at first, but decided it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. A couple of drops of saline and a few quick sucks and wow the mucus AND the harden boogers came out with an ease I couldn't have imagined. It was gross seeing a tube full of slimly, mucus and boogers only inches away from my mouth, but the sweet sound of my son breathing easier made it worth the initial ick factor.

I will say that using the long tube that comes with the Nosefrida is very difficult, requiring massive amounts of lung power. Instead I have clipped tube to just long enough (about 0.5 inch) to attach to the aspirator and it works just dandy. I have also found that taking several strong short bursts in the row (about 5-7) pulls the material out faster with little tugs. Most importantly, no more bloody noses and my son breaths easily and don't scream every time he sees me coming towards him for a nose clean.

I recommend this product to everyone!!!!

"DO NOT CUT THAT TUBE!!!" 2009-01-28
By pcgirl

I am an avid reader of reviews and it is for this reason, when my 4 month old was congested, I purchased the Nosefrida. I had read over 70 reviews and almost all of them said to cut the tube down when you purchase this item.

DON'T DO IT!!! I'll tell you why...

My son has Down's Syndrome, I say this so that you are aware of the fact that his nasal cavity is smaller than most babies.

Upon purchasing the Nosefrida, I tried using it. To say I was disappointed was an understatement! But you say, why 5 stars then??? Just like anything else, this takes practice to get right. I quickly started to cut the tube about 1 inch at a time until it was about 5 inches long.

The power of the suction was amazing and I was finally "getting somewhere". Unfortunately, I blocked my son's nasal cavity with some mucus that was way in the back and couldn't get it extracted. He started to have trouble with his nose, sniffing like it was clogged.

Finally he sneezed and he was alright. I contacted Nosefrida and received my replacement quickly and courteously. This time I spoke by email to their customer service rep and was told that I should not cut the tube, that it was especially designed with the length necessary. Personally, I think that since this device is made in Sweden that Swedish woman have better lungs than us Americans!!! LOL

Anyway, this time I started using it as my son was getting a winter cold. MAN, THIS THING WORKS!!!

I get so much mucus out of his nose, much more than I ever did with the nose bulb! I didn't throw that out though as there are just times that I get it all the way to the front but not completely out and that's where the bulb comes in place. Also, the bulb is good to carry in case a need arises while out. (Though you could just take the Nosefrida along as it comes with a nice carrying case! I never use it though as I just wash it in soapy water and let dry by the sink...)

All in all an amazing product if you keep these things in mind....

First- DON'T CUT THE TUBE!

Second- practice sucking air in while not using the device (ie- like sucking through a straw)

Third- Spay a little saline spray in the nose prior to suctioning. Use the Nosefrida in a circular motion while the product is just touching the inside of the nasal canal. Listen for the "juicy" sound and suck in short breaths alternating to longer ones as needed.

Blow the mucus into a tissue or soft cloth (my favorite so it's gentle on the face)

Fourth- I found that if you put the child in a feeder seat or highchair that they fuss much less. My son would scream and buck when he was laying down. Now in a seated position he hardly ever cries (but you can't blame them for wanting to get away...ever try one of those bulbs on yourself?)

Fifth- Wash immediately in warm soapy water letting the water run through the blue tube (shaped like a cigar) both ways.

Sixth- I reuse the filter (a spongy cylinder that goes in the cap) several times after washing it in soapy water and letting dry although they recommend replacing after each use. I find that the mucus rarely reaches the spongy thing. When I clean it, it's always dry!

The choice there is yours.

Works great!!!! Keep practicing, it's worth the effort to learn how to use this, your children will thank you for it.

 "Awesome product!" 2007-12-13
By Bridget Hayward

I did a lot of research on nose aspirators before settling on the Nosefrida. The standard blue bulb was extremely upsetting to my 3 mo old son, and frustrating for me and my husband. Not to mention ineffective.

The very day I ordered our Nosefrida, my son came down with his first cold. Those first days were painful, struggling with the blue bulb to clear his passages. And then it arrived... I tore open the package, all the while promising my skeptical husband that 'this will help--all the reviewers love it!!' And it DID! Man, we sucked some serious business from deep recesses. He barely noticed the tip of it at the end of his nostril. His eyes got really wide when he could feel the suction and seemed a bit freaked out but he got over it quickly when he felt the difference. Now, a month later, he even smiles when we bring out the Nosefrida to give him some relief.

I know some other reviewers had trouble with the suction, so here's a few tips: 1. Be sure to spray some saline up the nostril 30 sec or so before you suction. Breastfed babies especially have very sticky boogies so we have to moisten them up for removal. 2. Be sure to listen for a 'click' when you attach the two pieces together, or else you won't get anywhere.

3. Don't just hold it in one spot, move the tip a bit(circular motion is nice) b/c sometimes it makes a huge difference.

So that's it. It's kinda weird, sucking things out of your child's face, but MAN IS IT WORTH IT!!!

"it does not retail at $41 a can - even at its manufacturer" 2009-04-01
By C. Robinson (McNeil, TX)

This is a wonderful formula.

However, it is misleading to list this product at a higher price and appear as if Amazon carries it at a reduced price. It is priced at [..] at Whole Foods, same size. It is also available for online order at Earth's Best (the manufacturer) on their online store's website at [..].

The only place you are saving is to order more than one by monthly subscription through Amazon.

"The ONLY formula to use!" 2009-04-10
By Marisa Giuliani (Verona,NJ)

No one had told me about this product because I am breastfeeding, but when I realized I was going to supplement at night I wanted to find a formula that would work well with breastfeeding. I tried everything on the market and all of them had added sugars and made my baby boy extra gassy and some even gave him a rash. I started reading reviews and found out about Earth's Best. It is amazing! It smells good, it lessened his gassiness and he absolutely loves the taste. I predominatey breastfeed, but the two bottles he gets a day are always Earth's Best...you won't be disapointed. (Too much sugar and carbs in the others).

"Great formula, mixes well and organic is a plus!" 2009-01-31
By U. Salim (Santa Clara, CA, USA)

I switched from enfamil to this. Baby seems to like this much better. The formula is expensive but i have found the best deal on amazon. They had a price mistake so they were giving it for $27 for 4 cans... which got fixed later. But now they had other deals and with subscribe and save it is about $17.15, best price i have found... specially when it retails for $30 +tax.

Overall a good organic formula. And if the baby is happy i am happy :)

"Great Formula, with great ingredients" 2009-05-18
By Katanya

All infant formulas have the same ratios of nutrients - that's mandated by the government. However, the ingredients used to source those nutrients, that's what's important. Earth's Best is organic, and made with wholesome organic ingredients that you would actually want to put into your infant's body.

My son was breast fed, but I couldn't make enough to meet his requirements when I went back to work. I tried Infamil once, and he threw it up. Earth's Best, he actually looked forward to drinking.

Do you know that formula manufacturers used to remove Omega 3's from formula? Because it decreases shelf life. So be prepared to use the can within a month of opening it.

Also, if your infant is allergic to soy, this product is not soy-free (It has soy oil).

They have a special absorbent polymer and stay-dry lining to draw milk away and into the core of the pad, keeping the skin and clothing dry....

"They haven't let me down yet!" 2010-02-06
By SSH (Washington, DC)

I've been using these pads for 10 months now and haven't had one leak! Even during times when I've leaked heavily, the pads have always held the milk in. They're fabulous! I definitely recommend buying them in bulk because they go quick when you wear them every day like I do.

 "Like the larger quantity" 2009-12-24
By Ging Ging (Lafayette, CA United States)

Looks like amazon is selling a box of 4 of these now instead of just three. This is an improvement since you go through these so fast anyways. I even use reusable pads regularly, but still end up using a ton of these! Bulk is good, better for the environment!

 "Best nursing pads ever!" 2009-12-25
By Hannah Baker (Kenosha, WI)

These are wonderful! They hold a lot of moisture without getting squishy like some other brands. They also have sdhesive on the back so you can stick them right to the inside of your bra (which is wonderful for those night feedings when you not paying attention to stuff like where you nursing pad is.) I occasionaly get stuck working an 8 hour shift, and I drive transit so there is no time to nurse or pump, and these pads last me all day! Awesome!

 "I've tried 'em all..." 2010-01-02
By M. Hudson

But these are the best. I've never leaked with them, and that's saying a lot! I don't use the adhesive on them, but that's my choice. These are soft and breathable, no plastic! I'm prone to thrush and these have never given me any issues. I'll never buy anything else.

 "Best pads!" 2010-01-30
By E. Miranda (Orange County, CA)

I tried all types of disposable nursing pads and these were the absolute best. They are thin and very comfortable. They also have the sticker on the back that keeps the pad in place (such a necessity, especially at night). The Lansinoh are more expensive than most of the brands, but they are totally worth it! I purchased through Amazon's subscription program and have really enjoyed the savings and the convenience of not having to drive to the store. Pay less and no effort = happy customer : )

Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests, 20-Count Box

Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests, 20-Count Box Review. The Clearblue ONE-MONTH Digital Ovulation Test detects your LH surge and tells you the two best days to conceive. Tests are individually wrapped for greater confidence....

 "Great value and results" 2010-02-18
By A. Jackson

I love the smiley faces on these - no more comparing line darkness! I also like that these are the best deal I can find anywhere - you get 20 sticks, and they are individually wrapped so you don't have to use all of them in one month like some tests require. I would definitely recommend these!

 "So far, so good" 2010-07-05
By Susan Schmidt

My husband and I just went thru our first round of IUI (finger's crossed) and was instructed by the nurse to start using the ovulation kit (of our choice) on day 10. After reading all the reviews, this seemed to be the easiest to use, and had the best feedback, so we went with these. On Day 10 - cirlce. Day 11- smiley face. We called the nurse and the next day they did an ultra-sound showing that I was in fact ready (ie. the test was accurate) and they went ahead with IUI. We're trying to stay very optimistic that one round is all we'll need (so think good thoughts) but if not, I have total confidence in using these for the following cycles.

 "This product works great!" 2010-03-03
By D. Simpson

Like many women, I had trouble interpreting the two-line system on the standard dipstick OPK's. A friend suggested that I try the smiley face digital sticks, and I'm glad I did! It's very clear to see when you've had your LH surge, because the smiley face is unmistakable. I also use the ClearBlue Easy ovulation monitor, because it measures both the LH level and the estrogen level. It gives you 3 levels of fertility (low, high, and peak), so it provides a lot more information than just the LH measurement. I use the ovulation monitor in the morning and the smiley face sticks in the late afternoon, and oftentimes the afternoon test is the one that turns positive first. This two-test technique has definitely helped me pinpoint my LH surges and plan my BD sessions accordingly!

 "Worked great" 2010-10-01
By Alibali (NY USA)

What sold me on this product was that I didn't have to figure out if a line was darker or lighter. It was a very obvious happy face or circle. After trying for many months, I didn't want to analyze or overthink anything. I bought a box and started using them on the proper day. They are super easy to use and to read. On the 5th day of usage, I got a smiley face. Now, a few weeks later, I'm pregnant.

They worked for me!

 "These work!" 2010-05-18
By Tnbuyer (tn)

TTC # 4 and over 35, I used these the first month, these showed when I was going to ovulate. So they work! But no baby yet. I ordered the 20 stick pack and will spread it out over the next two months, since they are individually wrapped. I test days 11-15 two times a day, 11 am and 8pm. We are tyring the Shettles method, so we need to time near ovulation. Fingers crossed, send baby dust our way!

Pampers SoftCare Unscented Wipes, 720-count Box Review. Hypoallergenic for gentle cleansing. Pure water and natural aloe help thousands of soft, cleansing buds leave your baby's skin feeling perfectly clean....

 "Great deal!" 2010-07-28
By slockwood

I received these a few days ago and they are a pretty good deal. They actually came with a plastic wipe box as well as the refills. I figured it would just be refills. I got them on sale on here and they also had a coupon available and a percent off which made them even cheaper! :) They came super fast and I have not been disappointed. I suggest doing the subscribe adn save program to save extra money on them. :)

"Great item for the price" 2010-08-23
By alphie609

Pampers has some of the best wipes. They are soft and clean up messes quickly. Would definitely recommend to other people. Look for coupons and sign up for the "Subscribe and Save." With the savings you get, these wipes become comparable to the Warehouse brand when it comes to cost.

 "great wipes" 2010-08-23
By Renee Ligman (EAST GRAND FORKS, MN, US)

I love the unscented wipes. I was not fond of the smell of the others and I will stick to the unscented from now on. Great prices, especially with the subscribe and save, but overall a nice item.

 "I like this product" 2010-09-11
By Rainy (Seattle)

I must say that I am pleased with the product. Another review has me wondering whether I've paid too much to avoid fragrance added chemicals, which are still there, but not in the quantity of regular wipes. My child is now 20 months, so we should be moving away from wipes over the next several months.

 "Sensitive on Baby's skin" 2010-09-20
By Sabs (Seattle, WA)

These wipes work well. They are very strong but also soft. My baby has had no issues with these wipes on his sensitive skin. You really can't go wrong with these wipes. These do not have a scent and so I feel ok wiping him down with these occasionally. The big box is the best way to order these and I really like the 10 individual packets that come in this box.

I never thought of using them on myself for a little clean-up on the go before but I have used them for many different things and I have never been disappointed.
