Pampers Swaddlers Dry Max Diapers, Size 2-3 152-Count Review.

 "Very happy with DryMax" 2010-04-29

I was very skeptical about Pampers Dry Max after reading all the negative reviews. Yet given my past overall satisfaction with most of P&G's new products, I decided to give it a try before drawing a conclusion myself. The shipment arrived within two days free of charge. I guess it's part of the promotion either Amazon or P&G is doing now. Having tried the new dry max on my 6-month old son for two weeks, I would say I can't tell any defects or inferior quality of it compared to the original Swaddlers. On the contrary, it's indeed thinner and resulted in a dryer and smoother feel on my son's skin than the original Swaddlers too. The product didn't have any bad smell, nor did it leak either as some buyers mentioned. Overall, I'm very happy with the Dry Max and think it's indeed an improvement from the old swaddlers.

There has been a lot of bad publicity online it seems for the new Dry Max.

There is talk that it gives some babies a very bad diaper rash. Before Dry Max came out I used only Pampers.

Once I learned about all these problems I was scared to try new Dry Max on my 4 months old. So, I went on the hunt for a new favorite diaper. I was optimistic that I would find another brand that would fit my needs. I can honestly say that I have tried them all. Huggies (even Huggies Pure), Luvs, Target, Seventh Generation and the list goes on.

But there was nothing I was satisfied with as much as my Swaddlers. Needless to say, I returned to Swaddlers.

My baby did not have any rash. On the contrary, my daughter had more diaper rash with Huggies when I tried them than with new Swaddlers. Also, the diapers are indeed drier, thinner than the any other brand I tried. All other diapers seem to have a lot of that gel in them that makes them expand uncontrollably when are wet and become enormous leaving no space for other fluids to go but OUT of the diaper. I had a lot of blowouts with other brands. I never had that with Pampers. To me that is a very BIG plus. I am sticking with Pampers.

 "Great Diapers" 2010-05-10

We have been using these diapers for the past week on our close to 6 month old. She is probably around the 14 to 15 lb range now and the diapers just barely fit her. The are wonderful and we haven't had any real leakage problem and she has never had diaper rash. The large box size is great to get when the baby is on the lower end of the range because we know we won't grow out of them anytime soon. I do not have one complaint and continue to believe that Pampers puts the best diapers out on the market.

When it comes to diapers, there is really only one major criteria that it has to have in our household: the diaper cannot leak/result in major blowouts. While I know that there are no 100% leak proof/blow out proof diaper out there, the Pampers Swaddlers Dry Max diapers come pretty close. We have not experienced any leaks with Pampers, as opposed to store brands or Luvs.

Our daughter is highly prone to diaper rashes, and with the Pampers Dry Max, we've noticed that her rashes have decreased significantly when wearing these diapers. The diapers absorb so much liquid, and keeps it away from our daughter's skin!

I can't recommend these diapers enough - they're fantastic! Highly recommended!

Sure, kids are cute, especially babies, but man they can be messy. One thing a diaper cannot do is LEAK. The other thing it cannot do is irritate the skin of a child after they have gone potty. We just finished a box of these diapers on our baby and we love them. We have always been a fan of pampers, even with its higher price point in store, and we really like these Swaddlers.

Often diapers we buy do not fit the body of a baby well, but these do. There is no tendency for the sticky straps to tear off when they squeeze their legs towards their chest and come undone (seasoned parents will know exactly what I am talking about).

These swaddlers are very absorbent almost to the point of working too well. Our 3 month old is a chubby little guy, and usually cries when he needs a diaper change, but sometimes doesn't even feel it when he is wet in these until he is REALLY wet.

I highly recommend these diapers over cheaper brands if you want to avoid the extra mess the less expensive diapers can leave you in.
